We offer an extensive selection of brass fittings to join pipes together or connect hose to equipment. Brass barstock fittings are a great choice for your wash environment due to their durability and significant electrical resistance for the cost. The malleable property of brass allows fittings to uniquely shape to your hose or pipe, creating a strong leak-free connection. This is crucial in car wash and industrial environments with a complicated network of plumbing and high-pressure water lines. In addition, brass fittings are non-corrosive and will keep the rust away. We have a large selection of threaded, hose barb, and quick connect fitting options. Plenty of size, shape, and pressure rating variety means you’ll find the right fitting for your application. Offered in popular thread options like NPT and MIP. Even better, we offer them at low prices and keep a lot of stock on hand for fast shipping when you need it. Add some to your cart today and keep plenty of spares on hand!
If you need replacement hose to pair with your fittings, we also supply hose assemblies, bulk high-pressure hose, and foam hose & accessories.
Brass and copper are two of the most common metals used for plumbing fittings because of their durability and value. As they're somewhat similar in nature, people also frequently have trouble deciding between the two for their fittings. So, it's good to have some understanding of their characteristics.
Both offer excellent corrosion resistance, although brass will corrode when used with salt water. Brass usually has small amounts of aluminum, tin, copper, zinc, while copper has few impurities. Visually, brass has a brighter golden appearance while copper has a reddish-brown look.
Industrial applications will choose brass over copper for a few different reasons. First, brass is stronger than copper, so it can withstand higher PSI pressure levels. Second, brass is a soft metal despite its strength, so it adapts to the pipe or other fitting inserted into it to create tight, secure connections. Lastly, brass has a much wider temperature range versus copper. Brass can be used from about -65° Fahrenheit to 250° Fahrenheit, while copper is restricted to about 32° Fahrenheit to 200° Fahrenheit.
